- The more megapixels the better, although if they are just going on your computer it's probably not too important. If you were getting big blow-ups made, then the more mps the better. It refers to how many dots the picture is made of. I'm not checking all the other stuff.
- mega pixles are what the picture is made of and the best companie in my opinion was samsung uhm would u help me in another q? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20081127225139AAHsdZf
- Megapixel = millions of pixels. This is a measure of the camera's resolution. In theory more MP means you can print bigger pictures. And camera makers would certainly like you to believe pixels are the only thing that matters. However it's not that simple. For one thing unless you plan on printing frequently making large prints, 6MP is more than adequate. Also noise (random colored pixels that show up in a digital picture) and the quality of the optics influence the effective resolution as well. In fact more pixels also tends to mean more noise, and it's not unusual for one to cancel out the other. These are two factors you'll rarely find any mention to, since camera makers know they can sell numbers in place of quality. In brief, ignore the megapixels. In practice they aren't usually a real measure of quality.
