Can anyone help me with my HP photosmart 385 photo printer?

I just got a new digital camera and wanted to use my mom's old photo printer to print the pictures. The problem is she only used it once and now it won't do anything. Any troubleshooting suggestions?

1. When you say that it "won't do anything" do you mean it won't even turn on or it won't print? If it won't print and it has been sitting unused for a while the printer head is clogged/dried out and you will have to replace the ink and possibly the printer head.
