What kind of photo printer should I buy that is similar to the Canon ip5000?
My friend has a Canon ip5000 that still prints great photos? I will most likely never print any photo bigger than 8 1/2 x 11. What kind of printer should I buy that is just as good or better than the Canon ip5000? I would prefer a 6-cartridge inkjet, and (if possible) the ability to print onto CD-R's.

- Here's a way to check the printer you like. If you have blue tooth on your phone, you can go to your photo's on your phone. High lite the one you want to send or check mark it. The side window will say what do you want to do ? Then blue tooth the picture to the printer. Make sure the printer of course has blue tooth most do now. Then picture paper. Sometimes Cannon has a rep their to help.
- Epson makes some "R" series printers that do a great job printing photo quality prints and will also print directly to a CD. http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/consumer/consDetail.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&oid=63069504
- how about the pixma IP4500 for $99 at Amazon? Those Canons really are great printers. I have the IP3000 and love it http://www.amazon.com/Canon-iP4500-Inkjet-Printer-2171B002/dp/B000V2MK8C/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1212031692&sr=8-2
