How much must you pay for tickets to Mt. Olympus in Wisconsin Dells at the door? I'm wondering whether I should get the tickets at the entrance or whether I should run to walmart to get ink and but them from home.
PRINTER HELP!!!! Olympus P11 printer? I just bought a P11 Olympus Photo printer... It came with ink and some paper how much pictures should one cartridge of ink print? Because I just printed about 5 pictures and already the ink is out!
The screen of my Olympus digital camera broke on the inside, is it fixable? Me and my friend went to Universal Studios recently and I had my Olympus Master digital camera inside my bag. When we went on the tour-tram thing I went to look over the pictures I took and I noticed that the screen was cracked a bit on the inside and there was a kind of "ink spill" on the inside as well. I was well pissed, so when I got home I asked my brother what happened and he said I probably sat on it or hit my bag on something with the camera still in it. He said that it probably couldn't be fixed, is this true? P.S. the camera itself still works its just the screen doesn't.
the philosophy of digital vs film photography? I've been a serious amateur photographer since I was a teenager. Over the years, I've had an Olympus Om1, Om2, and Pentax film SLR cameras. A few years ago I bought a nice Olympus Digital SLR, and most recently a nice Canon EOS. But--for some reason, I miss film. I know there is almost no practical reason for film anymore--quality is nearly indistinguishable now; it's much cheaper of course, and generally more convenient. But--I think I still miss certain almost intangible aspects of film: the simplicity of just thinking of using your aperture/shutter and your creativity and not clicking 500 features in 20 sub-menus; the idea that light is landing on a tangible object and creating a photographic impression; and other things I perhaps can't articulate. Would I be crazy to "go back" to film? I picked up my old Pentax K1000 a few days ago, and it felt great to have it in my hands again... Is there a rational reason to stay with film? Is an emotional attachment enough? Or should I just move on, get with the program, and not be like someone who sticks with a fountain pen because he likes the feel and the ink, and won't use a computer.....
Please help, can this be fixed? Went to a party last night and put my bag down. (silly I know) Found my camera on the stage, it looked fine & everything but when i turned it on the ink inside the screen had bled all over it & I could only see about a tenth of the picture. The camera still works perfectly I just cant see the picture Im taking or what it looks likt til i upload it to the comp :( The screen isnt cracked or anything. But can this be fixed?? Any ideas of how much it'll cost & can I go to any camera shop? Ps. its a digital camera- Olympus X-42. 12 megapixels. 5x optical zoom.
